C. LaVerne Bell is the Co-Founder and First Lady of Spirit of Love and Deliverance (SOLAD) Baptist Church.  Minister LaVerne is a native Virginian from West Point. She is the daughter of the late Junius White and Ellen Broaddus-White both of King William County. She was a long-time member of Trinity Baptist Church where she was baptized at an early age.

God has blessed Minister Bell to take a working part in her husband’s ministry. She has served as the Director of the Women’s Ministry and Director of the Children’s Church at Potomac Baptist Church from 1998 to 2003.  At First Rising Mt Zion Baptist Church from 2003-2012, she served as Director of the Council on Women’s Ministries and Wedding Liaison. She had lead the Thanksgiving Pre-Dinner since 2005 where in 2009 we served 500 homeless; 2010--650; 2011-800; 2012-1080; and 2013-500 both at First Rising Mt. Zion Baptist Church and SOLAD Baptist Church.  In 2014 she decided to lead the effort of feeding the homeless in July where over 850 fed.

Among other things, Min. Bell loves and has a gift to work with children and the elderly. She loves to write poems and plays. Mrs. Bell is a graduate of King William County Public Schools. She has furthered her education at Mary Washington University in Fredericksburg Virginia.  Mrs. Bell is also a certified Wedding Planner. Mrs. Bell had extensive training as an accountant and is employed as an accountant in Washington DC.

She is the founder and President of The Kenny Foundation, Inc. and a Board member of SOLAD Baptist Church, Inc.

She was licensed to preach the gospel at SOLAD BAPTIST CHURCH March 2014.  

She is the mother of Kenneth Crandell, Jr, (deceased) and the Grandmother of Esperanza Williams of San Diego, CA and the Legal Guardian of her grandniece, Orieonna Harris (7). She is also the proud wife of Rev. Dr. Raymond C. Bell.
